We need a new start every once in a while, to promise ourselves that we will be better, that this time we will be the person we want to be. When we are deep into a routine and a lifestyle, is quite hard to start something new, lo improve ourselves, it seems impossible and that we don’t have enough discipline and energy to make it happen…
When you close a cycle, you close the book of that phase of your life, which will be full of good and bad moments, but you’ve learned more about yourself, about what do you want to keep and what to change, and you need a new blank book to start again and feel complete. We’ll always want something more, be better, that’s what will keep us enjoying our life, that will make your heart jump of excitement, to be afraid of start, but don’t look back, keep your mind and your vision looking ahead, and remember all the other old books, those are the ones that formed you, but the present and future books are the ones that you can write.
The biggest new book that you can have is a New Year, full of goals and dreams “this time, I will be the person I want to be”, we as humans need that, we need the chance to start again and let go the past. Unfortunately, the new year fever will last less than a month, once January past and you didn’t fulfill your goals, then you lose motivation.
Don’t oversaturate yourself, and don’t want to change everything and accomplish everything you want in the first month, to make an effective productive routine will take time, even three or more months, see every single start of the month as a new opportunity to improve your consistency.
I’m those persons that oversaturate the day with activities and things that I want to do, that I want to improve or learn, but that’s not effective. This year I want to accomplish a lot of things, but I will distribute my goals all over the year, otherwise we overload ourselves and we will be just disappointed.
Is a new year, a new fresh start, fill your life with things that make you happy, a better person, the one that you want to see in the mirror everyday, but you need to give you time to accomplish this.
For me, one of the things that always makes me happy and gives me the energy to continue, is photography, is always by my side. How this makes me happy? I really don’t have idea, but I found something that makes me really happy, that when I do photography, the whole world disappears, is just me and my camera, and we can conquer the world together.

Well, back to our goals!
I suggest two things that apply for all persons…
First, find something that gives you extra energy, could be photography, or go to the gym, learn to play an instrument, practice a sport, etc.
And second and very important, stop, avoid or mitigate activities (or persons) that drains your energy. Better keep your daily life as clean, positive and healthy as possible.
